The Bagdouma Wellness Hub will transform Bagdouma Park Community Center into a comprehensive center for health and community connection. This upgrade will include new flooring to accommodate a variety of exercise classes, new lighting, a fresh coat of interior and exterior paint, the installation of awelcome desk, and a demonstration kitchen offering nutritious food preparation classes. Through a collaboration with Desert Recreation District and local health providers, the unique health needs of Coachella residents will be met through a variety of programs and activities that include access to healthy foods, physical activity, social connections and a connection to nature.
