Project 2:
Shared Mobility

Car Sharing and Mobility Enhancement

This project will introduce a new EV car share and bike share system managed by the LEAP Institute and Bound Corporation. The goal is to expand affordable, sustainable transportation options for residents.

Bound Corporation will add 100 e-scooters and 30 e-bikes to the area, giving residents low-cost, eco-friendly ways to get around.

The LEAP Institute will launch the Green Raiteros Rideshare Program using 15 Tesla Model Y vehicles. This community-based rideshare network transforms individual car ownership into community-owned fleets, ensuring low-income residents and farmworkers have access to subsidized rides.

This project will make travel easier, greener, and more affordable for Coachella Prospera residents.
